- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 46
What you said
Burned through my veins
Made my heart race off fear
My tears run along my cheeks without stop
Your words cut deeper than you think
Slap harder than you would've liked
But say say, you say again
Never keeping shut
Never caring.

Dear Darling 45
I told you another secret
Something about me no one knows
And you said you understand
You claimed you understand
Now dramatic you call me:
pathetic, alone, and seeking attention
If only you know
I have some exciting news coming soon that I can’t wait to share. No, I didn’t get an agent or even a full MS request but something different.
Peace out ✌️
- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 44
If only you know
what it took of me to reveal
a secret I've kept so long
hid so much
and which's weight sag my shoulders
you won't have said
what you said.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 43
I stumble and fall daily
But that lessens not the fright
Or the pain shooting straight to my head:
Blinding and maddening
Which is why I scream:
A little bit to reduce the pain
But "hush hush," they say
"You fall, it pains, you get right up in silence"
I tell them, "it hurts to be strong."

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 42
Our tale will be told someday
When you and I aren't living
Like that of Romeo & Juliet
Me and you
But with a happy ending
Others would crave to have

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 41
You know:
I've cried fearing we won't be
I've cried fearing we won't last
I've cried fearing you would pass
I've cried for how heartless you became
Don't make me not cry when you indeed pass
Don't make me look forward to your funeral.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 40
I yearn to make you laugh
A little harder than you'd like
Jump a little higher in joy
Scream a little louder at my surprises
Run a little faster while I chase you
And love a little more than you'll want to.
I aim to make you see a little bit of how
Beautiful and strong you are and have been.
Peace out ✌️
- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 39
I only cry when it's overwhelming:
When you haunt my dreams
And I fear this time is the last I see you
When all I think about is you
Yet you have no idea.
But you dare look me in the eyes and say:
"You don't really love me, do you?"
Of course I love you
And it's driving me crazy

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 38
I'm sad from all the words
I didn't say to you
When we met tens of times.
I walked right passed you
With twitching lips
Hands almost stretching out
To touch you.
I yearned to let you know
What's within
What has been in my heart for long.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 37
It's been so hard lately
To have hope
To keep going
Although you can't see.
To have shoulders high
With all the weights.
To put on a smile
And hold back the tears.
It's hard to fake it now more than ever.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 36
I run away from reality
To chase the fantasy in my head
Day and night
Day and night until you came.
Now you make me chase reality
For it is better than my fantasy
Has ever been.
Thank you.

Dear Darling 35
You've been through so much
I know
But I can never understand.
You fight demons
I'd have hidden away from.
You face them with squared shoulders
While I passed out in fright merely seeing them.

Dear Darling 34
Not even honey:
Raw and dripping
Could compare to your words:
Short and brief always
But convey more than you wish.
You adore me, you said.

All the words I've prepared
To say to you
Varnish the instance you look at me.
I become speechless and
Mute
Dumb; when you smile at me.

Dear Darling 32
I can see through your eyes:
How much you've been holding back
How much pain you've kept yourself
And how much love you crave to share.
You are the strongest person
I've ever met:
Beyond broken
But still living your fullest.

Dear Darling 31
If I were to choose
Between you and myself.
You know it's you I'll choose
Without hesitating.
For I've lost myself once
Twice
And both times
You've found me
And taught me what it's like
To be myself.

Dear Darling 27
I might never love you
Like the stereotype
Of what love is now perceived as.
But I will care for you forever.
I have been binge reading these past days: I just finished reading A Head Full Of Ghost, which I definitely enjoyed and would recommend.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 26
You've come too close today:
Just a word away.
But I couldn't speak.
My mouth was glued
And my mind blurred.
Perhaps all my dreams
Are indeed fantasies like others say.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 25
Guide me to the stray path
With all your sincerity.
But know that I will lead
For I was born to lead.
Never a guardian though
For all the pain
I have been through
Has washed out that purity.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 24
The kindness inside you
Warms and keeps me alive.
I'm otherwise heartless and cold,
Cruel even to some extent.
Definitely not my feeling. I might have watched a movie or read a book that inspired such a dark theme. Dark romance fans would appreciate this I guess.

Ever mentioned without
Mine crossing minds.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 21
Breathe in
Breathe out.
It all is a matter of time.
In ten years from now
All will be done
And I need you by then
To not ponder on the past.
Smile if it falls in your favour
And I beg of you to move on
And let it be if you fail to make it.
There is and always will be
Another chance.
So let go of the hurting.
Let go of the pain of failure
And seek light.
Do something productive
To wash out the gloom
Do something productive as a reward.
This is one of the longest poems I have written.
Peace out ✌️
- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 20
I fear the day all I have
Would be your memories.
Your laughter would echo
So faint in my head
That I might not make it out
Among the noise drowning it away.
Your smile would be vague,And the pictures would be blurred.
I fear to ever forget you,
And what we have to turn a "had"
This is my top favorite poem. I cannot remember when I wrote it. But each time I read it, it makes me feel things: Emotions (longing and beautiful sadness) that weren’t there before.

Dear Darling 19
You remind me of the stars
I can recall gazing at while
I still had my eyes.
I remember you saying
You would stick to my side
In all circumstances.
I wish that accident never happened.
I wish I could see the stars again
But more than that:
Feel you, know that you survived.
Peace out ✌️
- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 18
You need not worry about my past.
That was who I was before I met you.
The me now shows
How much impact you have in my life.
Guess whose website anniversary is today? Yep. Me. It’s been a year since I built this website. I haven’t been paying much attention to the date to note the anniversary is near but…I feel proud of editing it to look like it currently looks. That’s enough anniversary gift to myself.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 14
I live through the day with
The intention of fulfilling your dreams:
You talked so passionately
About travelling the world
That night on your rooftop.
You complimented the moon
And the stars.
But you, my beloved, I had been suspecting
Have never seen yourself in a mirror.
This is one of my favorite poems. Not much of a cliche but it has been used more often than not.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 13
Don't be my shadow
But me in whole.
For I wish not
For you to leave even in the dark.

Dear Darling 12
I see your pain
Without needing you to speak.
For I know you better than myself
Better than my passion and dream.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 11
You remind me of the time
When I was a kid:
Free, dependent, and loved.
When my mistakes were laughed at
And corrected
Not mocked and yelled at.

- Letter To Darling:
Dear Darling 10
Cheers to the life we could have had
The moments we had sat through:
Thinking we would reminisce together.
Cheers to the memories we created
And now cling onto for a taste of living
For a taste of ever mattering
To somebody else who has seen our dark side.
Peace out ✌️

To wake up in your arms

Dear Darling 7
Without you
The sun doesn't shine.
It's no longer the crimson bundle of joy
I want to spend the day under.
It's harsh
Burning
And cruel to both my skin and heart.

Dear Darling 5
Know that I'm a sinner
Whose existence brings forth evil.
I won't take you to the moon
Or bring it to you as others say.
Rather
I'd be by your side
When you face your demons
And scare them away.
Peace out ✌️

Dear Darling 4
Had I not followed
Thrived
And seek out your attention
Would we have been?

Dear Darling 2
Remember when we were inseparable?
Our heads hanging on each others' shoulders?
Our hands held as if afraid to let go?
Doubt you do
But I do
Would probably for the rest of my life.
I’ve been posting these poems on other social media platforms -Instagram and sometimes Twitter- and so far I can say they are therapeutic to some extent.

- Hey, I am back!
Wow. The break I took is unbelievably long that I can’t even point out how long it has been since I wrote on my blog.
But guess what?
Here I am now. And although the posts will mostly be poems, I will be posting at least twice a week -Thursdays and Sundays, hopefully.
I’m stuck in the loop of editing my WIP. Which others consider as writing…but I want to go with the write-even-a-single-sentence to keep the creative part of my brain active.
And what better way than to write a letter to myself -or you- *winks* about what I’m feeling during the day.
I will however still try to write flash fiction, short stories, and random blogs which you can access through the Fun Posts page in the menu.
Enough of my blabber, here is the first poem:
Dear Darling 1
Blink back the tears
For if they were worth it
Two pairs of eyes would be leaking under the starless sky.
Peace out ✌️
